You or information is probably accurate, but I’m willing to bet that very, very few “Deplorables” itemized any of those deductions on their tax returns. I suspect the ones hit hardest by this will be upper middle-class taxpayers in areas like mine that voted for Hillary Clinton.

Removing the Medical expenses is a massive mistake .
The TV ads write themselves .

You think those "Reagan democrats" who put Trump over the top in Mich, Wisc, Penn are going to be ok with a huge 14% tax break for the wealthy while this Republican Congress has done everything in their power to thwart Trump's populist agenda (build the wall ect)? Dream on.

I suspect the majority of taxpayers who may lose in deductions in one area will be made up to them in another.
