“I continue to believe that this is the real danger for President Trump: A report by the special counsel, either through the grand jury or some other vehicle, concluding (a) that the president had obstructed the FBI’s investigation of Flynn and of Trump-campaign collusion with Russia, and (b) recommending that the matter be referred to Congress for consideration of next steps, potentially including impeachment and removal.”

Good article, but odd that he would end this way, because Comey has already testified that Trump did NOT obstruct the investigation.

How can we tolerate the FBI being complicit in destroying evidence (laptops and hard drives) yet fail to collect evidence (like the DNC server), then have the author of the ‘dossier’ on the FBI payroll while he was also collecting fees from Hillary and the DNC, then use the fictional ‘dossier’ as a launching pad for running to the FISA Court to spy on Hilary’s opponent using the fictional ‘dossier’ as gospel? Not even perverse Hollywood could come up with a script like this...

Impeachment will unleash a fire storm that will make CWI look like a Sunday School picnic. You don’t spit on 63 million people and not expect retaliation.

Just ask the NFL.

They think they can use some legalease BS to remove our dually elected President. They surely haven’t considered the consequences. Either that, or they feel untouchable, in which case they would be in for a shock.

“It’s now an Obstruction Investigation.”Question is who was doing the Obstruction and who is being investigated.

Seems to me that the FBI has very dirty and conflicted hands in this investigation and a number of these Investigators were Pro-Hillary Clinton drones.

The investigation should be canned until it can be investigated by agents without a Clinton connection.

Even if Trump did lie, hew did not lie under oath and is not therefore prosecutable. If he withheld information on dealing with a foreign dignitary, that is called sensitive information and an’t be prosecuted. If he made a deal with a foreign business to do something, that’s business and the Clinton Foundation is as guilty as hell for it.

And as long as the conservatives own a majority in both houses, he will not be removed. And if the senate decides to vote him out, none of the republicans will get a single vote at their next election because they removed a sitting president elected by the people.

And I would love to see a fund to build billboards all over the US saying that along with getting on every conservative talk show I can on radio. We have two major conservative talk stations up here: 570 KVI and 770 KTTH. And they would love nothing better than to assist the conservative party to hammer the dissidents. And they love Freepers up here.

They (and we know who THEY are) will have President Trump gone by any means, fair or foul. I shudder to assert I believe foul includes a “mad man” with a gun.

Although extremely specious and unjust, Mueller could actually go for this. The ham sandwich. Then Trump’s hands tied for years.

I know: pearl clutching. But it appears to be the only worst-case scenario now.

The point is that the Congress can pretty much impeach someone for whatever reason it deems politically necessary. If you can get most of the House and two-thirds of the Senate to say Trump is gone, he’s gone.

Then Congress would be impeaching the president for unconstitutional reasons.

And then the country is "gone".

The time has come for all supporters of President Trump to go to Washington D.C. & demand the immediate removal of Mueller. Perhaps several hundred thousand supporters might be enough to shake up the corrupt government to realize we are no longer going to tolerate this witch hunt against this administration.

This is war, and it needs to be treated like a war.

“Then Trump’s hands tied for years.”

Why? He’s got lawyers to handle crap like that. He just ignores it like everything else and keeps on governing. I’m pretty sure Trump can do more than one thing at a time.

There can be no “obstruction” case brought against Trump (even IF it occurred, which it didn't) after the Hillary precedent, which included destroying evidence after it had been subpoenaed. The double-standard is too glaring. And how can Mueller bring “obstruction” charges in any kind of impartial manner that involve Comey, when it has been established that they have a long-standing personal friendship? Not only that, Mueller is former head of the FBI, and hence any prosecutorial actions involving his former agency have a clear partisan bias. This is only reinforced by the discovery that a highly partisan FBI agent was put in charge of the Trump investigation for months, and then when he was dismissed Mueller hid the reason for his dismissal!

The Dems and the MSM and the Hillary bots haven't realized it yet, because of all the screeching, but Mueller's partisan witch hunt has been exposed this weekend and has all but imploded.
