I think all of that went on with Mitt’s father George Romney who grew up in Mexico and was driven out by by raiders in Mexico. George was Secretary of HUD under Nixon and Governor of Michigan. He also ran American Motors where, his “Mormon Roots” came into play and he developed the Rambler, the only bed that made into a car!
