That's one way to look at it. Another way is the the libs may lay off trying to win elections through false accusations when they judge they've suffered enough carnage. I have to believe they are getting close.
I've noticed a pattern in all these cases. When the accusations are credible and true, the accused quits, is fired or gets tossed out. I offer Ailes, O'Reilly, Weinstein, Spacey, Lauer, Conyers and soon to be Franken as examples.
On the other hand, holding fast in the face of utterly false accusations, as is the case with Trump and Hannity, has worked. I believe Moore will bear this out as well.
Justice is being served.
Let the Senate try ostracize a duly elected member. It won't go well for them.
It is uncharitable to wish him dead.
The difference is that photographic evidence exist in Franken’s case.

The MN gov will appoint another dim senator.
The dims will be able to stand up and say they've removed Al and Conyers due to their issues and will call on the gop-e to repudiate Moore.
Losing AL's sinate seat is a loss for the gop-e and Trump.

Nothing has been proven with Roy Moore it’s the same crap they pulled on Trump weeks before the election . It’s all fake , the Dems always call our guys rapists or sexists right at the end. This is about Roy Moore, and eventually Trump.
Franken is just road kill on the #resistance superhighway.
They are doing this to pretend like they care and mainly to try to gain traction for demanding Moore not be seated - they are willing to sacrifice a number of those in safe seats to go for the grand coup - the Alabama Senate seat....
I know this is not going to be popular here on FR, but this makes it very difficult for Moore to serve in the Senate should he win next Tuesday.
For his sake and his family’s, I hope he does consider stepping down after winning and make a deal with Ivey to get Mo Brooke into the Senate.
I just don’t see how he can be an effective Senator for Alabama. He will be a pariah in the Senate. They will give him no committee assignments, he will likely be kicked out of the Republican caucus and will have to sit as an Independent.
Frankly, I think the Dems have played this perfectly. This just might put Jones over the top. All very sad...

You've got the right. I have no doubt that Ellison would funnel intelligence information to ISIS and CAIR if given the opportunity. I frankly believe that Ellison has secretly already done everything within his purview to damage the United States.
Plus they’ll just replace him with another far leftist if not someone worse.
Franken’s conduct is clearly inappropriate, but it is not exactly in the same league as Weinstein, Conyers, Lauer or Rose. Those guys were sexual predators, who used their positions of power and authority to serially sexually abuse women. Franken, to me, is more of the boorish frat boy who thinks he’s funny when he isn’t, and never emotionally matured beyond that phase.
Oh, and he should still resign.
I agree, he hasn’t done anything criminal.
