The PLO was renamed the PA (Same bad characters, just a different name) has never actually negotiated for peace. They have always committed violence, threatened violence, or walked off.
Indeed...since 1967.
However, it was in 1984 that I was actually in Jerusalem, marching from the Mount of olives to The Western Wall to make known this request, so my own involvement dates from then.
