Um.... he was 25. He is now a bit older and wiser. Not defending him but there are a LOT of Freepers who could write about their “youth” and mistakes. :)

I can't help believing that there are a LOT MORE Freepers who had the moral fortitude to avoid acting like animals.

Otherwise we all, as a society, would be struggling in a toxic fatal stew, where nature's diseases rule.

That’s not true

Where you meet is almost inconsequential except in extreme situations

Whorehouse for instance

But a bar

In college that would be very common

You first met in a place where students gather

Loosen up Sandy

And I hate alcohol btw

If you’re a guy looking for a mate you’re going to meet a woman you’re attracted to where women are

Church is often good too

Workplace is common but it’s a minefield now

In the 70s and 80s girls went to clubs or discos which i detested but that’s where they were

Now I think kids meet online mostly

I go to church and see tons of hot southern girls and hot Yankee interlopers

Moms and daughters

I notice even at 60

And I think if I were young here’d be opportunity for a mate here from a good family

But you can also spontaneously meet s decent lady at a reasonable place where people gather to drink and socialize or dance

The old cow barns used to be ok...too

I think that’s better than just hooking up

Making a date to go out is fun

I agree but google who’s the biggest threat to kids killed at home

It surprised me

Yet another conventional wisdom squashed

“I seem to recall that some years ago the inventor of ‘the pill’ thought it had been a mistake.”

Guess that guy knows what went through the thoughts of the atomic bomb inventors.

Morality, be it Christian, Hindu or Islamic, is the boiled down result of thousands of years of civilizing lessons

Progressives must be destroyed for being anti civilization. They can’t be tolerated and must be destroyed and totally eliminated. There can be no kumbaya

Thunderous applause: but there is a difficulty, and a next step.

The difficulty is twofold.

First, with the expansion of credit and fiat money, and the rise of "credentialism" for hiring, how does one

a) make it possible to get married and start having children *young*?

b) overcome the progamming of young women to "live life to the [sleeping around] fullest" until age 30, and then get married?

c) Afford multiple children when D.I.N.K.s have raised the price of housing

d) avoid fake charges from Children's Destructive Services?

Second, how does one find mates for the children, who share those values? I mean, you can't expect to send them off to Public Skrool or secular University (and even some nominally Catholic Universities are suspect...)

The solution to much of this is found by creating an insular religious community. The Orthodox Jews in Israel have done just that, and their birthrate is sky high, even though right next door, the birthrate of secular Jews is rock bottom. The Orthodox birthrate is even higher than the Arabs. So if left to their own devices, Israel will eventually become dominated by the Orthodox.

There is no reason that Christian groups could not achieve the same ends in the US, *if* they are willing to employ the same means.

Importantly, protection from government is not terribly hard if you do what the Orthodox in Israel have done: establish themselves as a voting bloc that is the swing vote between the left and the right.

A US Christian model for this might very well begin much like a “megachurch” community. Unironically, such communities are almost never in the news, because they are orderly, prosperous, and neither promote nor tolerate radicalism, crime or vice.

They have their own shopping areas, where most goods and services are purchased, run by community members. They have their own primary and secondary and homeschooling schools, where their religious faith is part of the curriculum.

This would be a good foundation for the establishment of a high growth rate sect.

What you describe is segregation

Black America has effectively segregated its self into the cities where many live in a state of sexual promiscuity. A black political protective structure has been erected to protect the segregated community.

Is it working....... not really. Corruption is bringing about destruction. Baltimore is the archetype

Get them to form alliances with other Christian subgroups (*conservative Catholics and Orthodox, for example) and I’m in.

The Orthodox, likely. But currently conservative Roman Catholics are “under siege”, and it might be a while before they can once again embrace the values that they hold dear.

Two words.

Humana vitae..

“How in blazes do you know all these horrors?” cried Flambeau.

“Oh, by being a celibate simpleton, I suppose.” Father Brown said. “Has it never struck you that a man who does next to nothing but hear men’s sins is not likely to be wholly unaware of human evil?”
