I am a retired correctional officer. I can tell you that between visitations and phone calls, the inmate continues to operate his street business. Visits should be limited to holidays and earned by good behavior. All phone calls should be recorded.
“Visits should be limited to holidays and earned by good behavior. All phone calls should be recorded.”
Visits and phone calls for convicted prisoners should not be allowed, period.
Those incarcerated pending trial should only be allowed contact with attorneys who are defending then in that specific case. And then both parties should be cavity searched following the consultation.
These phones will be snuck out and Chrishon will be showing Cell block C all of Tiffany’s, uh, attributes.

I was up late one night and happened across a channel showing FBI cases.
This one was about a gang based in Chicago and branches in Texas and Philadelphia.
The head honcho was serving time in Club Fed but still running the gang from prison.
They used an elaborate code to communicate.
The FBI recorded every phone call from the prison, every call at the gangs HQ and their various branches.
It took the FBI over a year to break the code and another six months or so to get their case together. All the while the head of the gang was directing the drug business and even ordering hits from Club Fed.
When the gang was brought down the top three guys ended up with life sentences and their time was to be served in solitary because of their previous experience running the gang from prison.
