Arkansas just approved the banning of “father” and “mother” on a child’s birth certificate. How screwed up can a nation be? This screwed up.

A judge ordered Arkansas to stop issuing birth certificates in response to a demand from two lesbians. The governor said that if two lesbians are "married" they can both be listed on the birth certificate.

I don't know if the judge in question is a liberal activist or just felt that there was no alternative given recent Supreme Court decisions.
