He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
He has a new job recently as a para-educator, helping teachers with one-on-one coaching kids who need that extra help learning. Elementary through middle school kids. He enjoys helping these kids.

For sure, it is our choice how we handle life.
How is your winter going? Snow? We’ve had warm days and freezing nights. A lot of melted snow, and ice at night. Driving is not fun.
Dunno what we are gonna do with this Iraqi vet.
You used to get a bus ticket and think about it cool off.

Howdy, radu! How was your Saturday? Did y’all finally get some of the snow that has brought the southeast to a halt?
It was warmer here....maybe got up ;to 60. Nice. I stayed in. LOL!

It was windy and COLD! It didn’t snow here but there was some north of us as another cold front rolled through. I saw a few flakes when I went to the store late this afternoon but that was it.
Mmmmmm, 60 degrees sounds niiiiiiice. Wouldn’t mind that here but no luck in store for a while. They SAY we’ll reach low 50s Monday but we’ll believe it when we feel it.
Supposedly we’ll have another warm-up next weekend. We’ll see.
Did you get your stuff pretty much ready to go when the call comes? I gather you won’t get much advance notice that it’s time to head north.
