This is the second FR thread on this, and people are making light of it. The comments on the other thread were terrible. The man had a wife and children. He claims his innocence and says this was too much coupled with PTSD. I don’t know if he’s guilty. However, guilty or innocent, suicide is not the answer. If he was guilty he should have faced the consequences of his actions and repented, and if innocent, he should have cleared his name. What his wife and children are left with is devastating.
If these allegations turn out to be false, the trial by media atmosphere we are in will have claimed a life.
I am so tired of this sexual inquisition BS, its all he said she said. So much is happening for the better and all I see is this stuff being put out there so we are distracted from seeing what is really going on with our country. As Rep. Jarrod once said, its only sex. OK, it was only sex then why is it different now? Why so much emphasis on it, because sex sells? Agrrrrrrrrrrr. rant, rave etc. etc.. Gotta be more to this story, I’ll wait for the rest of it.

No need for jury trials any more. Just put the sexual charge out there and the target is considered guilty whether he is or isn’t.
That’s rare. Usually when the party isn’t mentioned, it’s a Democrat.
Good people especially when drinking can slip up sexually. A false accusation does NOT lead to suicide. Guilt and shame does. Good husbands and fathers can slip up. And it can be hard to live with yourself when you don’t realize what work it is to not fall for temptation. Poor guy. But he should not have hurt his family in this way.
