State attorneys general are now threatening lawsuits against the federal government's repeal of "net neutrality" rules.

New York's attorney general says he'll lead a multistate lawsuit to stop the Federal Communications Commission's rollback of rules that guaranteed equal access to the internet. Democrat Eric Schneiderman has been investigating fake public comments submitted to the FCC during the net neutrality comment process.

Schneiderman says his analysis shows 2 million comments stole the identities of real Americans, including dead people and children.

The Washington state attorney general has likewise vowed to sue over net neutrality.

Trump’s people just need to IGNORE any injunctions granted by any publicity-seeking “Judges”.

lawsuit to stop the Federal Communications Commission’s rollback of rules

Have either of these clown attorneys ever read the US Constitution?? States have NO RIGHT to demand anything from the Federal Government regarding Federal Laws, Rules and Regulations.

Every Lawyer involved in this should be disbarred BY tomorrow morning for bringing nonsense like this to a federal court.

Why even bother pretending that we are a democratic state when those who lose elections can just go to their favorite judge and overturn the actions of the duly elected officials?

Even though the Obama regime essentially seized power by making up the whole concept of Net Neutrality out of thin air and implemented it artificially on the back of a decades old utilities statute there is little doubt Obama’s hand picked lawless stooge judges will support these baseless lawsuits attempting to grasp this mini coup. The swamp will not relinquish control of the Internet easily.

Exactly what federal law do they intend to use as a basis for the suit?

NYS. I didn’t even have to look. The state is hemorrhaging jobs, taxpayers, House seats; is swimming in red ink...And this clod wants to make sure the state’s freeloaders have someone else paying for their damn downloads.

Yep, I think to goal here is the injunction, followed by 3+ years of litigation, hoping that the President elected in 2020 is someone not named Trump.

Here is a great idea:

States that sue the feds over these Constitutional changes lose monies that equate the cost of defending them in court multiplied by a factor of ten.

So go ahead and sue, attorneys general. If Trump has to spend $1,000,000 defending these changes that fit the Constitution, you lose $10,000,000 in federal grants.

Sweet.

Somewhere in hell Goebbels is giving RATS two thumbs up for the effectiveness of their propaganda machine. #NetNeutrality is overwhelmingly , and foolishly, in support of this anti-liberty Obama Imperial decree. Thank GOD Trump has ended it! (For now)

Net Neutrality is one of the regulations that probably should have stayed in effect, if only for the pocket books of us little guys. IMO, should have been made like an electric company. Mark my words, internet rates will increase. One of the big guys will have to take the risk of charging surplus fees to not get throttled. Once the first one makes that move all the other ones will follow suit. Sites like this one will be one of the victims. End users who are wanting to get some freerepublic won’t be able to get the band width needed so browse. The big guys will have the pockets to pay what ever prices are. My company, for example, will get charged a mega premium for internet access simply based on our size alone. Oh, your revenue was 16 Billion, well your internet access fee with be 4 Million per month.

It's amazing - Millennials are 100% (and angrily) in support of Net Neutrality, even though they don't really understand what it is.

So what? That will expend their budgets and keep them from doing harm somewhere else. Net neutrality has no effect on 99% of us.
