The Obama NN rules were enacted in 2015. Was there some big problem with the internet in 2014 that I never heard about? Why are we trying to fix a problem that does not exist? If in the future they intentionally break Netflix, we can deal it then and tailor the rules to fix the problem that actually occurs.
The real problem is the content providers, especially Facebook. Facebook is now the beginning and end of the internet for millions of people. Facebook gets to decide what they see and hear. That kind of concentration is a fundamental threat to our freedom. NN does nothing about it.
This whole thing started because I posted the POV on NN sent to me by my long time friend, a top level Internet security person for the SEC ( Securities & Exchange Comm in Wash DC )
After that I was and have been under attack as if I were LENIN or Stalin attempting to bring back hard core SOCIALISM. Your response, I'm hasppy to say, is NOT in the same category of many of the others who were outright ANGRY. I thought for a minute I was at Berkley.
I even received a DIRECT response from Jim Robinson, the owner of FR chastising by a$$.

Opened my eyes. Disagreement is one thing, but anger and animosity directed at me as a "Socialist" by quite a few, all because I attempted to defend, NOT mine, but my long time friend's POV, was surprising, because I am a hard core CONSERVATIVE ( check any of my past posts over the years ) who was exercising the FIRST amendment defending a knowledgeable friend and trying to have a little fun doing it. Bad idea on my part!
For awhile I felt like a "Black" in the old South. The experience surprised me.. and I'm fearless!
