Given that they provide the product, including infrastructure and support, shouldn’t they control it? The only thing I would change is to introduce an easier means to compete with them in providing that service.
Yeah, because the last 30 years prior to 2015 Comcast and others were charging for using 3rd party services and sights... This will open competition which has been stifled in the ISP race.
What you FAIL to comprehend is that if Comcast does that, someone will build an alternative road.
Removing Net Neutrality will break the hold that ISPs have over the internet.
