Set up VPN on a router? A 2nd router? It can fool Apple TV and Amazon prime?

Sure. My Netgear router supports using a VPN. I'm sure DD-WRT does as well. I don't have the router it set up to use it. I use it on my web surfing devices and my android TV box. But if I thought they were messing with Netflix, I would set it up on the router. If they can't see the protocols, they can't mess with them. I think in this day and age, it is prudent to surf with a vpn and always use private browsing.
