Our challenge is that the members of this club say one thing to get elected (Clinton's "public answer"), wave issues out there to raise money (Cornyn's shameless support for national reciprocity), yet drop all pretenses once they are in the well of the Senate. They have zero interest in delivering this to the masses as it doesn't affect them. Like Obamacare, doesn't matter to them. They get special handling, exceptions. In case of national reciprocity, they have own security, will give themselves dispensations.
