I apologized. I am far from pious. I was only shocked at someone choosing to commit stranger BURGLARY with a decent upbringing and strong, famous parent. I was mistaken and I also don’t know his side of the story. But your calling my opinion ugly is no better. At last I did apologize and stand corrected.
Thanks for not sugar coating it and telling it like it is.

Just for the record, in case you think I have no clue, I grew up with the AF (dad was a career guy) then I joined the Navy. The AF people had it super easy compared to the other services. If you ever spent any time around or in the shoes of both; you would know that. The AF is a critical service not to be demeaned but of all the services; it’s the closest to civilian life. Again; I think you know that.
My uncle was Navy operating landing craft during WWII, he was delivering a load of Marines to the beach at Tarawa when his craft was shot up and disabled. He had to go to the beach with the Marines. As he was wading through the dead Marines he grabbed a rifle, ammo and other gear. He fought along side the Marines for several days until they could get him back to the ship.
You have it exactly right. No harm or hard feeling meant at all. BTW; I was Navy.
And he was the one who was at home when that author moved in next door to the family to report on them. The author (sorry, his name escapes me) actually knocked on the door and Track answered. I can’t imagine how a young vet, home from the wars, expects to deal with a return to civilian life while the world continually attacks his family in cruel and bizarre ways.

If the foor is unlocked and you are not invited in but go in antway it’s burglary, breaking and intering, trespassing, any number of charges. He has assulted his wife/exwife before.

He probably broke into a house where wasn’t invited and then assualted someone.
Because the standards to get in the USAF are higher than the other services. So, because of their higher intelligence, they easily transition back to civilian life.
Lol. Really? To be honest, he has turned out to be an embarrassment for his family. 28 years old is way past time to grow up.

If he's 28, though, maybe he simply has the typical millenial attitude toward conventional authority. Only he knows why he did it.
