Brussels has said that Europeans must accept mass migration from the third world as the “new norm”, warning that neither walls nor policies will allow any part of the EU to remain “homogenous and migration-free”. “It’s time to face the truth. We cannot and will never be able to stop migration,” writes EU Commissioner for Migration Dimitris Avramopoulos, in a piece for POLITICO, published Monday entitled, “Europe’s Migrants Are Here to Stay”.
In it, the Eurocrat wrote “human mobility will increasingly define the 21st century”, and that mass migration is an issue Brussels has committed Europe to “for the long haul”, stating: “Migration is deeply intertwined with our policies on economics, trade, education and employment — to name just a few.”
Pointing to migrants from the world’s poorest countries who were granted refugee status in Europe, Avramopoulos made clear that Brussels sees asylum not as a way to offer temporary respite from war but instead as another method of permanently transplanting third world populations into EU nations.
“They have found safety in Europe, but we also need to make sure they find a home,” he writes of refugees, going on to insist that programming Europeans to welcome mass migration is “not only a moral imperative”, but “also an economic and social imperative for our aging continent — and one of the biggest challenges for the near future”.

The elites are all in favor of replacing white westerners with Third World immigrants, except for themselves. Upper management in transnational corporations is never outsourced to a Third World call center or replaced by Third World immigrants, neither are high-level bureaucrats. The elites' call for demographic displacement by Third World masses applies to you and to me, not to the elites themselves.
The Eurocrats and the international currency speculators really believe that they can rule a rabble of Third World peoples more readily than they can rule their own countrymen. Perhaps this is true in the short run, since Middle Class Americans and Europeans have all those inconvenient notions of a decent standard of living and some level of personal liberty, while many Third World peoples have no such concepts.
That was completd when they shipped all the manufacturing jobs overseas. The American Middle Class is on oxycodone now and is completely worthless.
They have almost completed turning the middle class children into self-hating 'snowflakes' too.

Brussels (and the Belgians, generally) can best be understood as white, delusional versions of Jessy Jackass and Al Sharpy playing at pretend 18th Century dress and pomp; Otherwise useless and allowed to exist by countries better than themselves.

This is like watching a police standoff where someone has got a gun to his own head, his girlfriend and mother are pleading, and police can do nothing except try to stop him from shooting other people instead. Please, God, don’t drag us into this.
The result is, apparently, although we're still a little short on candor from the social planners on this, a more or less homogeneous EU whose loyalty is to the central government, not to any feelings of nationalist solidarity. The latter have been so commonly blamed for war that practically no one in any area of authority questions that bit of dogma anymore. Open the borders, homogenize the people, and peace ensues, or at least that's the only cogent explanation of this deliberate cultural suicide that I've ever heard, and it had to be extracted by bits and pieces from proponents who still are uncomfortable with stating so aloud.
There are problems with this happy plan, not the least of which is the diminution of tax base through which the welfare state is to be supported, that welfare state seeming to be the one unalterable goal of this effort. The migration of "skilled labor" that enables this never happened and it isn't happening now. The lines of military-age male marchers crashing the border aren't electrical engineers, medical doctors, or exotic-materials machinists, and they would much rather enjoy the fruits of the welfare state than contribute to them. There is no plan to change that, only a vague Merkelian "we can do it!" exhortation to the existing population to solve the problems this sort of social engineering have created. Somehow.
It will break, of course, and if there's a consolation in that it's that the European welfare state will be among the principal breakage. What happens after the welfare state isn't going to be pretty. It may be that the best thing to be done is what is done when you see a friend committing slow suicide: the first step is not to join him.
