Most modern Catholic and Protestant practice is independent of state, but the lines are messy. And there are other flavors of Orthodox that have no dog in the Russia fight.
Agreed there! Including Russian Orthodox. I still believe it is the Russian Orthodox Church that still holds the key to helping Russia recover its soul.
A lot of sharing takes place across the boundaries of denominations though it isn’t often talked about. Pitches by Catholics and Protestants may encourage the Orthodox to revive. Ultimately a home church must be chosen.
