Yeah? Bears are sentient animals. They THINK. That means that have INDIVIUDALITY.
Some bears feel that way. Others, generally large males, view us as a mountain of fat and protein to fatten up on.

At age 84, my husband’s maternal grandmother shot a bear she saw through the kitchen window. She put down the dish cloth and picked up her gun. Those northern Minnesotans are a hale and hearty bunch.
