It's not screwing the taxpayer if it puts Americans to work. The tax payer is screwed now.

• He pays for the cheap import.
• Then pays again to support the unemployed Americans.
• Then pays again because the unemployed Americans aren't paying their share of taxes.
• The taxpayer is hit again, when the unemployed Americans aren't buying whatever products or services the taxpayer provides.
