It’s obvious what’s going on. Team Trump has nominated a leading LGBT activist whose views are antithetical to those of most social conservatives and is trying to smuggle her across the finish line before the Christmas recess — and, above all, before members of Trump’s base catch on.

Heard this from one of my online listening sources last week, that is usually correct about such things. They acted like it was already a done deal though, but hopefully it can still he stopped.

I had no love affairs. Not crazy about Cruz, either. Actually really didn’t get overly excited about anyone, for various reasons.
Of course my posting here hardly shows support for Trump - this thread is not the time and place.
But I will call out not just him, but the people who are apparently Trump-uber-alles, never daring to criticize him but rather acting that he does no wrong and piling on anyone who does critique. That is pathetic, and wrong.

I support him most of the time but I’ve always been skeptical just how conservative he really is.Trump didn't run on conservatism. The driving philosophy of Trumpism is "America First." Social conservatives are going to be disappointed from time to time.
