I saw this on the news yesterday. They immediately said there was no indication of terrorist ties. I actually thought to myself, “well maybe it really was an accident”.

Then they showed a short video of him being pulled from the vehicle. As soon as I saw him I knew he was a terrorist. So should everyone else.

Islam/Mental Health.
A chicken and the egg argument.
Islam will drive people insane. Either they fully adopt its creeds, and insanely try to kill people. Or, for awhile, they try balance in their minds the Islamic admonishments to kill the infidels, with their own inner conscious that tell them that murder is evil ('Thou shalt not kill'). Eventually it breaks some brains - and makes them insane.

I understand why the cops can’t just immediately come out and say it is terrorism even when it appears to be.

On the other hand, the authorities seem to go out of their way to say something like, “there is no indication of terrorism” when there actually is. Why can’t they just say “we don’t know yet”.

It is not just Australia either. It is all Western governments. There may be exceptions such as Israel tho I guess they are not technically a Western Nation.
