There are some important things the public doesn't know about the Trump dossier, such as whether the FBI used information from the dossier to win court permission to spy on Americans. But the most important question about the dossier is the simplest: Is it true?
In a seven-hour interview with the House Intelligence Committee Wednesday, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe repeatedly declined to answer whether the bureau has been able to verify the substantive allegations in the dossier, or even to identify a substantive allegation that has been corroborated, according to sources familiar with the questioning.

I agree! When does this end! Remember way back in the day it actually meant something to testify before Congress and you had to spill and tell the truth? How do they get away with this? Because of a bunch of pu$$ies (apologies for unladylike language) who can’t, as you say, DO THEIR JOB!

He can’t tell them that they verified anything and he can’t tell them that they used an unverified (see: lying, false, uncorroborated) document to get the FISA warrant.
If he does, then he admits that whoever was the author, perjured themselves in front of the most secretive court in the country. I would think, as in most cases with federal agents, that whoever the affiant was(Strozk, ???), provided information to an Asst US Attorney, who then drafted the warrant. That is usually SOP for the Feds, as they usually have an AUSA assigned to the different offices. The AUSAs act as counsels to the agents, to make sure they put together a case that won’t be thrown out later, in a suppression hearing. Hell, I’ve seen AUSAs toting pistols on warrants.
Anywho, I think whoever stepped up to be the affiant is in deep, doodoo. If/When Congress id’s that person and compels them to testify, a whole sh*tstorm, just might erupt. They’re either going to fall on a sword and take one for the team(which I doubt) or start naming, names. They all thought she would win and no one would ever find out about this.
But lying to the FBI is not tolerated. The FBI needs a serious overhaul. Paging Jeff Sessions!

Those on the House Intelligence Committee know that McCabe was stonewalling his answers. There should be criminal charges brought to someone who uses this tactic. Either you answer the question or you are picked up out of your seat and taken into custody. The days of wine and roses are over.
Time to arrest him for contempt of congress and perp walk him to the congressional jail. Hold him there until he remembers.
If it were me, I would just declare him an enemy combatant and waterboard him!
One thing I always wonder anyway. I know Trump the germophobe who doesn’t shake hands didn’t hire two Russian hookers to piss on a mattress Obama slept on. BUT, say it was totally true.... as far as I know, that’s not a crime.
Besides, that Russian hotel probably discarded that Obama mattress the day after he left.

Very disheartening and infuriating to know that our government and our civil servants have such disregard for the law, as it is supposed to be, and so much disrespect for the people.
Aren’t most of these clowns the same ones that push for certain clauses in the NDAA? Like, indefinite detention.
About time guys like McCabe trades in his Brooks Brothers(they give discounts to the FBI) for an orange jumpsuit, so he can sit in a cell and contemplate things. Put him a holding cell in DC and after about 4 days, let everyone in there know that he’s a Fed that got locked up on a state charge. He won’t last 20 minutes and will begging to speak to Jordan and Sessions.
