I'm sorry to be a party pooper, but just dang it. The "Republicans" did this? If that were true, then the "Republicans" would have done much much more this year.
Trump did this. Period!!! I know it took Republicans in the House and Senate to get it done, but Trump and his platform is the only reason it will make it to his desk.
If that weren't true, we would have passed a bill to replace Obamacare, or simply do away with it.
If that were true, we would have defunded Planned Parenthood.
If that were true, we would have fully funded the wall, or set up a fee on Western Union money transfers to pay for it.
If that were true, we would already have cancelled DACA and deported a decent percentage of them back to their home nations.
If that were true, we would already have hit Sanctuary Cities with one two punches until they got religion on the subject.
If that were true, we would already have done many other things, Trump has telegraphed he wanted to do.
No, "Republicans" didn't do this. Trump did. If they want to take some credit, they need to get off their asses and cooperate with this man.
When they do, it will be obvious, and then we can treat the people on Capital Hill as if they are on our team.
Lets face it, the only reason the Tax Cut got to Trump, was the leaders in the House and Senate need to get the pie off their face, for inaction this year.
Until they do get off their butts, they will get very little credit for anything. And that is how it should be, when only one guy has a vision and has been willing to push for it 24/7/365.
