There are Integrated Circuits that have tiny gravity meters. They could detect dirt removal or persons passing under them.

The wall the Israelis bit had been extremely effective as well. PS if we can build prison walls, we can build a border wall.

May I suggest that the wall be built just as deep (in the ground)as it is high!!! Also frag or claymore bombs at the bottom and top of the wall.
