Airports across the country increasingly are turning to therapy dogs to help relieve the stress of flustered fliers. But confusion and even conflict can result from the growing packs of pooches, after dogs used by security agents and emotional support animals traveling with passengers are factored in.

Yeah, there was a woman who had one on a plane awhile back, if memory serves.
I’m of mixed opinion on this. The therapy thing is idiotic - especially while in flight! But I can see just having some dogs around the airport might be a welcome sight for kids and some elderly who are unsure about flying or just arrived in a strange place, not for “therapy” - most people just love critters. But on airplanes - nope.
how about they just because nice and polite and courteous and give us back those several inches of room for our legs?...

I was on a flight a few months back, and there was a dog on board. Yapped constantly. I can’t understand the need for having a dog in the passenger section, especially one that is not muzzled. I didn’t care, as the dog was more tolerable than the babies and kids making noise. But still, planes should only have people in the passenger section.
I am tired of all the dogs at the airports and now crowding the planes. LEAVE THE DOGS AT HOME.
Another bad federal law that is being abused by low life losers, while people who really are in need of a service animal pay the price.
Gonna take my support yak with me on the next flight. “Mind the horns, lady!”

Therapy dogs do NOT belong on planes,or even at airports.
By the way,I love dogs——and I’ll bet they would rather not fly.;-)

Police dogs are one thing, but animals in airports and train stations are a characteristic of Third World dumps.
