Do you know what flavor of Christianity is most popular in Iran?
Just curious, and don’t know.
Is it Latin or Eastern Orthodox? The latter is usually the most prevalent in the Middle East.

This has been ongoing for a time now, there’s been thousands of them coming to the Lord. We were talking about this a year ago with missionaries at church.
I hope this is true. But stories like this are based on anecdotes and inflated claims from advocacy organizations so we have to take them with a grain of salt.

When Jesus comes back, I have a strong feeling that some will be shocked at how many are saved in the U. S., vs how many are saved in the old world.
Those people are putting their lives on the line.
Now that may come here too. If so, it may actually save some people here who wandered away from their Christianity, and return to unburden themselves with guilt, and rededicate themselves to Jesus Christ.
I’m glad to see this dynamic in Iran. Wish I saw more of it here on a personal level.

I am only in the know of Latin-based Christianity in Iran.
Most missionary activity I hear of is Evangelical in nature, but I have also heard reports about Catholicism as well.
Not sure about Orthodox. I am well acquainted with Persian-Armenian immigrants here who are members of the Armenian Apostolic church.

I was raised a Catholic, but now attend missionary Baptist churches more often. With the current (and past) state of the Catholic Church, I’m suppose Evangelical is best for Iran.
Where is the “here” that you mention?
I meant America in general, but specifically Los Angeles -> Lots of Iranian immigrants here: Jews, those of Armenian or mixed Armenian descent, etc... :)

It’s an offshoot of Orthodoxy...an ancient split from greater Orthodoxy must have taken place at some point. I should learn this too...LoL
