I have been stopped at those “fruit inspection stations” and had the car searched by both DHS and a narco-cop-dog.
Really. The dog “triggered” (ha ha) to dope in the car, which is pretty funny, considering not even a cigarette had ever been smoked in it. Half an hour later my MOTHER and I were allowed to proceed.
Don’t lie. The po-po DO use those as random illegal search depots. BTDTGTS.

I’ve been through those stops 100 times. We roll down the window and they ask if we have any fruits or vegetables. A simple no gets us waved through.
No reason to be an ass.
