Gingrich: Bannon has exaggerated sense of self-importance

Sometimes the absurdities just write themselves.

Please Newt, tell us about exaggerated sense of self-importance. You should be an expert on the subject.

Bannon = Judas. Bannon committed political suicide and likely killed Breitbart.com as well. What a fool.

Neil Cavuto and Steve Bannon are two birds of a feather, both of them backstabbers trying to be something, they will never be. Cavuto & Gasparino are two 100% low life, empty suits, that bring zero objectivity and comment to the table. FBN would be wise to get rid of them...both of them!!!

Gingrich is a do nothing bag of hot air. All he does is talk and try and brag about the contract with America that nobody remembers or cares about.

Another example of Republicans eating their own. Gingrich should remember what his old boss, President Regan said about speaking ill of a fellow republican. I wish Republicans had half the loyalty the democrats show to their fellow dems regardless of the situation.

“Bannon has an exaggerated sense of self-importance”

Newt, you’re projecting.

An exaggerated sens of self importance, like Bill Clinton’s little buddy, Newt, who said he would melt whenever he was in Clinton’s presence?

Guy Benson “millenial conservative”, on Townhall, and no great Trump fan was on Baier tonight.

Even Guy lit up the table reminding the other nerds that Bannon implicated TRUMP himself, in that absurd treason quote, when Bannon said “the chance that Donnie, Jr. didn’t march those two Russians visiting at Trump Tower, right upstairs to Trump, were ZERO”.

Now THAT is food for the sharks! And... Bannon wasn’t even there! He wasn’t on the Trump campaign until August.

Newt is right about Bannon.

And as far as Newt goes he’s one of the most important and longest lasting conservatives of our time. 70s to today. Who has a longer run?

Despite your obvious expertise upon the matter Newt, you might want to keep your mouth shut for once.

Bannon is bad for America. He’s bad for conservatives. He undermined President Trump. Bannon puts himself above all else.

Bannon looks like Rosie O’Donnell’s twin. I am done listening to this clown.

My fave comment of the night, on this, was from Ed Rollins, on Lou Dobbs’ show....

“Bannon set a fire on the White House lawn and President Trump rolled over him with a steam roller and then rolled back over him. This is the end of Bannon.”

Newt was much more diplomatic, but Rollins’ line was more entertaining.

CAVUTO: You think Republicans are going to pick up Senate seats?

GINGRICH: Absolutely. They will pick up to four to six Senate seats.

CAVUTO: And hang onto the House?

GINGRICH: They will keep the House, plus or minus 10.

BOOM!

I’m right and a bit more optimistic than Gingrich...

Mic drop...

MAGA and all the successes we’ve had this past year is because of Trump, not Bannon - Period. That’s all there is to say. If Trump hadn’t run in 2016, we would be exactly where we were before Trump decided to throw his hat in the ring. Bannon would have gotten us nowhere. He’s an opportunist who supported Cruz, until he realized that Trump would win the nomination.

Bannon, Cruz, Gowdy, Ryan. They’re all alike. All, at one time, had conservatives convinced that they were the real deal until it became clear that they were just Uniparty controlled opposition all along.

My advice people? Get over Bannon. Trump is a unique figure in history who was genuinely able to, single handedly, alter many of the entrenched social and political paradigms that people, myself included, took for granted. Someone like Trump doesn’t come around often - maybe once every couple hundred years or so. If Bannon thinks he’s responsible this movement rather than Trump, he’s a fool as well as an opportunist.

I hate to agree with ole’ Newt (who is 100% a jerk with an ego powerful enough for moons to revolve around) but he’s 100% right.

First off note, this is not “fake news” the President issued a statement on Bannon

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-01-03/trump-says-bannon-lost-his-mind-after-leaving-white-house

I had never heard of this guy before Trump hired him and suddenly he’s almost a messianic figure to some. I never cared for him, from my first impression. His actual tangible positive effect on the Trump campaign and early administration prior to his FIRING (yes he was fired, canned, terminated) appear to be minimal. His recent political activities appear to be counterproductive to actually electing conservatives. I agree with the President.

His comments about Don Jr. reveal him to be a real two-faced snake.
