Sessions took office and immediately recused himself from anything having to do with 2016 election, which rules out everything having to do with the biggest web of scandal and treachery in our nation’s history.

Trump's enemies mistook Sessions's recusal to mean that DOJ would never pursue investigation of the 2016 election -- and apparently you did, too. We now know that the DOJ inspector general has been "investigating the investigators" who actually did collude with the Russians and plotted against Trump. They are sweating for good reason.

People would already be in jail, but for the fact that Sessions is sitting there doing nothing but blocking the appointment of a real AG.

Really, as simple as a Perry Mason episode? Talk to real federal prosecutors and ask them how simple it is to build a trial-ready corruption case of any magnitude, let alone one this complex. Then you might appreciate the genius behind Trump keeping many of the still-scheming bad guys on the payroll - where they can be monitored for the record in their government offices and duties. "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" as the wise old saying goes.

The evidence isn't going anywhere. Time will tell...

Oh, you mean the same IG who 'investigated' Fast & Furious and Benghazi? The one who found nothing out of the ordinary about AG Lynch and Bill Clinton's tarmac meeting? That guy?

Yeah, I'm sure he'll get to the bottom of all the deep state skullduggery. Heads are gonna roll, I tell ya.

You talk of how long it takes to build an airtight case against high level officials. Well, that case has already been made against Hillary Clinton. The evidence to convict her has long been in hand. What we DON'T have, is an AG who will bring charges and prosecute her.

I'm sorry, but I know a miscarriage of justice when I see it. We've been outsmarted by the deep state, who have handcuffed and shackled the one public official whose job it is to bring these people to justice.

Scoffing is easy, but working is hard. For the moment, I will yield to your prosecutorial expertise. Beyond that, time will most certainly tell...

I'm not scoffing. I'm angry as hell that Jeff Sessions won't sh!t OR get off the pot.

Crimes of historic magnitude have been committed by government officials and functionaries at the highest levels. This is information that requires no investigation to uncover -- it's already been documented by prior investigations, and is known to the general public.

When all of the dirt on Servergate came out, Obama's FBI Director, James Comey, told the nation that "no reasonable prosecutor would convict Hillary", because she did not "intend" to break the law.

Well, that wasn't his call to make, but Obama's AG, Loretta Lynch, treated that statement as an acquittal.

She is guilty as sin, and should already be in Leavenworth. You know it, I know it, the whole damn world knows it - including Jeff Sessions.

Bottom line: If his recusal prevents him from prosecuting Hillary for her crimes, then he needs to resign and let someone else do the job.

Sessions's recusal does not prevent prosecuting anybody, as attorneys general do not personally prosecute cases. Neither you nor I have any idea what Sessions is doing, nor should we since he's not leaking; we'll only know when it's time to reveal indictments. We have grown so accustomed to leaks and posturing that we've forgotten that this is how it's supposed to work.

What we DO know is what we can observe -- Trump's enemies are in panic mode. That tells us all we need to know, and it is good. President Trump has been in office less than a year, Rosenstein and Sessions even less than that. With no reliable continuity from hostile predecessors, they had to build their staffs before taking on any other tasks. That leaves a very short time to build a criminal conspiracy case from scratch, but I suspect the process is further along than most believe.

Take comfort in the panicked behavior of our enemies and be of good cheer. And pray for the leaders we elected, because it was God himself who interfered in the election and has struck down those who have conspired to strike down our president. Time will tell where this is going...

Let me first acknowledge all the points you made in your prior post.

The first half of your reply was argued purely from optimism and trust that Sessions is actually doing something behind the scenes, in regard to the crimes of the deep state.

However, you can’t prove a negative. A thing does not exist until you see evidence of its existence. You can assume that Sessions is actually working on these issues, but its only an assumption.

The second half of your reply presents the observation that Trump’s enemies are going nuts. That’s very true, but we can only surmise the myriad reasons they’re doing so. Can we say with any certainty that they’re reacting to anything Sessions is doing? No, we can’t.

I don’t condemn you for holding onto your faith in the man. Given what he’s honestly produced in the last ten months, I simply don’t understand it.

On your first point. Announcements this week that investigation being “re-opened” indicates nothing was being done.

In DC it seems difficult to keep investigations secret, especially after you question witnesses and gather evidence.

How there wasn’t an investigation of the foundation, the uranium and other Clinton crimes for the last year is bewildering.

Someone is re-opening these Clinton investigations, but it’s not Sessions.

Per his recusal, he can’t touch anything involving Hillary.

That leaves Rosenstein and Wray, which means there another whitewash in the making.

Don’t overlook that President Trump nominated both DAG Rosenstein and Director Wray. They are his guys. Ten months is the blink of an eye, and soon enough we’ll see what they’ve been up to. Until then, enjoy sleeping soundly while Trump’s enemies toss and turn.
