Those episodes were intriguing.

I kind of miss the show. The finale was rather weak and the show could have run further.

I liked the finale. It implied that Don Draper had come full-circle.

He started the series at the top and ended up rock-bottom, only to imply at the end he was on top again, and probably was going to go through the whole cycle again in the 70s.

I had Phillip Morris stock in my retirement portfolio. I asked the guy “why?” and he said, “Tobacco will never go away.”

Do you have Phillip Morris the international stock? Or Altria, the US stock? The article only talks about internationally giving up on tobacco.

There are apps you can listen to it on your phone, and, of course, YouTune. Dragnet is hard to listen to for extended periods, because they constantly use the same actors over ans over again.

Across the pond Matchbox created a little controversy around the same time with this

Players was a popular cigarette in the UK and Ireland. And because of that controversy, many of these replicas go for very high prices on ebay. In the 80's Matchbox came out with sets of "Great Beers of the World." Replicas of mainly pre WW2 trucks adorned with period correct beer and ale liveries, Budweiser, Foster's, Bass Ales, Guinness, Lowenbrau, etc. The consumer protection agencies there as well as the nanny state Euro-weenies pitched a fit over it. Matchbox marketed them as "adult collectibles" and required anyone ordering these sets to acknowledge they were at least 21 yrs of age.
