You are right, Stockman was the “trickle down” guy...

From Wikipedia...

*Stockman was quoted as referring to Reagan’s tax act in these terms: “I mean, Kemp-Roth [Reagan’s 1981 tax cut] was always a Trojan horse to bring down the top rate.... It’s kind of hard to sell ‘trickle down.’ So the supply-side formula was the only way to get a tax policy that was really ‘trickle down.’ Supply-side is ‘trickle-down’ theory.”[7] Of the budget process during his first year on the job, Stockman was quoted as saying, “None of us really understands what’s going on with all these numbers,” which was used as the subtitle of the article.[7]”

Stockman was the Genius at least partially responsible for Reagan’s economic policies.

I still follow Stockman some and view him as a good guy. I should follow him more.

Stockman didn’t betray Reagan that I know of.

Supposedly Stockman got on the wrong side of Nancy Reagan somehow who demanded that her husband sever ties with him.

Viewed that whole thing as a betrayal of Stockman, not a betrayal by Stockman.

Seemed like a bad episode of Cronyism.

I view Reagan as a greater than life persin, however I view the treatment of Stockman as a mistake he made.

With Bannon however there now appears to be disloyalty and back stabbing.

Bush Sr. is the guy who came up with the voodoo economics quote and said it, though he later lied and denied having said it. There was film of him saying it. The tv news then did a good job showing Bush Sr. Saying it and then denying that he had ever said it. Was an outright lie he was caught in prior to his no new taxes lie.
