Last time I was in Mexico was in 1969 with my Marine buddy who had just returned from a tour in Viet Nam. After our visit, we swore then to never set foot in that sorry, Third World, country again.
The resorts there and in places like Jamaica close off the rest of the country.

We went into Tijuana back in 1981. Nothing special, kinda reminded me of the South Bronx with palm trees. Back then the biggest danger was DON’T DRINK THE WATER.
