Again, the clear voice of our historian from California. This is an excellent article with several bullet points that, I believe, mirrors the changes in the world and how the Pali's may now be "odd man out".

Enjoy

Fact is that “Palestinians” are not refugees at all, and their “camps” are permanent cities. Once again, Trump has deflated fraudulent political conventions with the cold hard light of reality. The “peace process,” which never existed except in the minds of dishonest politicians and their media flunkies, has simply disappeared in a puff of smoke, and nobody even cares enough to have a decent riot worthy of the name.

After 70 years of lying and pretending that the PLO wants a state, side by side with Israel, (1947 Partition Plan I) and the “Two State Solution” (which is really the 1947 Partition Plan II), the world is buffeted by a US leader who tells it like it is and tries to reshuffle the deck for a more decent hand. Truly honest! Go Mr. President, Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trump may be rash and unfamiliar with the stagnant Middle East peace process, but his political instincts are probably correct.

Excellent article but for one phrase. I would change the quoted sentence above to :"Trump may be brutally honest and unwilling to adhere to failed past Middle East policies, but..."

Considering cutting aid? Why hasn’t there been a move to end it entirely? Looks like another State Department effort let Freepers think they have
something to cheer about while keeping the establishment’s foot in the door concerning aid.

The Palestinian Cause is the distraction of Israel, and death to all the Jews.

VDH is spot on. The only thing I still worry about is the Israelis themselves. Some may not remember, but the left wing in Israel secretly met with the PLO after they had been banished to Tunisia in the wake of the 1982 Lebanon war. The left found a way to bring them back from obscurity and failure and, finally, under Rabin, installed them as a legitimate governing authority in the heartland of Israel. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in such an astonishing betrayal, it would have made Chamberlain blush for the disgusting appeasement policy at its core.

While Netanyahu and his Likud party ride relatively high, the Israeli left is always agitating, always seeking to reassert themselves, still insistent that Israel is illegitimate and all Palestinian grievances are righteous. They would stop at nothing to reverse the current direction and surrender.

There is only one democracy (i.e. representative government) in the Middle East, and that is Israel.

The Palestinians are almost a democracy, but they have repeatedly chosen to be represented by terrorists.

In Israel, Arabs vote and even serve in the military.

In Palestinian areas, Israel, the Jews, and America are blamed for all of their problems. Most of the “Palestinians” are incapable of living in a civilized society.
