A bipartisan group of U.S. senators has reached a deal on protecting young immigrant "Dreamers" from deportation as part of a broader immigration plan, a spokesman for Republican Senator Jeff Flake said on Thursday.

The spokesman, Jason Samuels, would not provide details of the plan, but said "the next step is taking it to the White House" for President Donald Trump to weigh.

Some other lawmakers who have been engaged in the negotiations were also optimistic; others said no deal had yet been reached.

No, U. S. Republicans DO NOT say a deal is reached.

Leftists in government claiming to be Republicans may have.

We despise these people.

Yes, but what are Canadian Republicans and Mexican Republicans saying?

“Grahamnesty says there’s no deal yet.”

Jeff Flake’s spokeman says there is a deal.

Lindsey Graham says there is not.

The future of our great country is supposed to depend on these two plus a collection of Democrats.

I know, right. Not enjoying this “win” yet.

Readying the amnesty bill. Why would you imagine these people would change their spots now? To save DJT’s promises? HAHAHAHA

Does Jeff Flake have a job lined up for his post-Senate retirement years? Maybe punditing on Univision?

Why does Flake have any say in this?

He’s a lame duck who knows he would be soundly rejected by voters if he ran again.

The only people he represents are the cheap third world labor pushers in the US Chamber of Commerce and the global banks. Like Eric Cantor, no doubt he will soon join them when he leaves to make millions pushing off-sourcing and to facilitate foreign control of US properties.

It is madness to allow the Dems and the GOPe to put together an immigration deal. They will try as hard as they can to screw American citizens just like the Bush globalists and the Dems tried to do before.

It isn’t the federal government’s job to help illegal aliens.
National security and protecting Americans is their job, a job they have been derelict in doing for a quarter century.
If they still can’t do their jobs after the Trump tsunami, let the chips fall—throw them out and find others who will.

They better hurry, the long holiday weekend to FARK the Rule of Law\legal immigrants\Citizens is nearly upon us.

Cynical? No, learned from experience.

Amazing how *FAST* (out of the desk of some lobbyist) this appeared and approved, no? O’Care repeal? They couldn’t even settle upon ONE (if they had 20) plan.

In my opinion, from looking at what President Trump has done in the past, he is letting this build and build, then he may just slam the door on the “professional politicians”...

just a thought....

They probably put some lipstick on the Amnesty Bill. Make things like ‘Chain Migration,’ VISA Lottery, and Citizenship at the discretion of the president. Hoping a RAT President would revoke all restrictions. This is NO DEAL.

Breaking, Senator Cotton:

"It doesn't end chain migration," Cotton said of the bipartisan plan. "It merely delays it for an extremely small class of persons. On the diversity lottery, it simply takes all those visas and gives them away to other people for no rhyme or reason, it doesn't just end the diversity lottery." And Cotton said that the plan's border security proposal "doesn't give near enough resources to meet the president's demands."

My stupid question: Define a “dreamer”. Is there an age range, must they be in the United States for 10 years, one year, three years? Are we going to “freeze” the number based on those who are currently hear (although we currently have no idea how many there are) or will this be a “rolling” number that will increase indefinitely into the future? Are we going to balance the number of males and females, Mexicans, Salvadorans, Nigerians and whomever else?

What are the boundaries of ethnicity, gender, age, time in the US, duration of the program, etc. If we cannot define and enforce these boundaries, we are legalizing unrestricted, uncontrolled immigration.

Seems to me he said just enough to make these fools think he was caving, when he had already said what his must haves were.

What’s more, he knew politically they couldn’t give him his demands, so a bill won’t show up on his desk.

Not only did Trump reveal himself to be clever and in full control, he turned the tables and proved it’s the attendees who are mentally challenged.
