If the segregation was caused by white flight from blacks moving in, I don’t see how blacks deliberately brought about the segregation. Sure, their arrival was the impetus - but it certainly wasn’t the outcome they sought.

Yes it was dude. I was in Essex Catholic High School from 1971-73 and homey NEVER wanted any part of integration. There were violent fist fights between whites and blacks. I caught my share of them.
