I don’t know about this Boyd fellow. But, I am stunned that educated people like Boyd, Burr, and Warner, all argue for continued concealment without reading the memo. It makes me think that there are many rats (both Republican and Democrat) that are starting to flee a sinking ship. I will not be surprised if Mr. Mueller is implicated in the memo, and hence the “Collusion” investigation will quickly disappear. I wonder if that is why President Trump is willing to submit to an “interview.” Perhaps he knows that the timing is that Mueller will be outed before any such interview. These are interesting times, indeed.

Boyd highlights how crucial it is that the committee not release the memo to the public for reasons of national security.

“National Security”. A classic means of hiding corruption.
And besides wanting to topple Trump, KILL him if not!
Question for Democrats: Do the American people have the right to question the motives and integrity of their government or not, simple as that.
“Was Sessions Cowering in the corner when this was written? I Hate the little f****.
I know the word you were looking for wasn’t ferret! I hate him too!
As reckless as an attempted coup???
When he says “we”, he’s talking about Sessions. Not good. More evidence that Sessions is a swamp creature.
Of course. Because it would expose their criminal plot.
The act of interfering with a Presidential election was far more than just reckless.
Is Lynch still the United States AG? I must have missed that.
Any more reckless that Dirty Dick Durbin running to the Microphones claiming that the POTUS insulted other Countries and accusing him of being a Racist?
IMHO the FBI and the DOJ holding back material from the Congressional oversight committees is reckless behavior.
Interesting analysis if you haven’t seen it before or been following SD’s posts.
Brilliant Strategery DOJ and FBI Demand Access To Nunes Memo While Making Wrong Assumptions

This goes back to March when Nunes viewed classified info at the Eishenhower builiding (& IMO, was shaken up by what he’d seen) and to the PDAs (Presidential Daily Briefs). Some of the comments by House members who have reviewed Nunes’s memo seems to track along this theory - “like the KGB”, etc.
Agree or disagree with the analysis/thought process, it’s an interesting read.
“Its time to completely dissolve the DOJ, including the FBI, and start over from scratch. Fire the employees, zero out pensions, investigate everyone for corruption, and determine who can be rehired in any new law enforcement organization.”
Don’t you think that that’s a little extreme? First of all, the DOJ is a Constitutional Agency, and the FBI is chartered under the DOJ. What we do need to do is install an Attorney General who is a leader and is determined to work with the Congress to clean up this mess. For the life of me, I really don’t know what Trump is thinking here. He is so good on so much of what needs repair in our government, but I just don’t get that we have “holdovers” in so many places who continue to work diligently at cross-purposes to the Trump administration.
Well, he couldn’t send out rosenstein. He’s played out as a spokesman. No credibility. This is like Loretta lynch sending out dirty cop comey because it had just been revealed she and bill had a secret meeting shedding her credibility.
“Was Sessions Cowering in the corner when this was written? I Hate the little f****.”
Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd served as the communications director for Jeff Sessions when Sessions was serving as a U.S. Senator. Session brought him into DOJ.
The DOJ is apparently corrupt from top to bottom. I’m not saying everyone who works there has been corrupted, but enough so that it needs to be hollowed out completely and rebuilt from scratch.
The last thing a DOJ lawyer said to my face was, “Original intent is just a buzzword of the religious right.”
There may be a few people in DOJ who are not utter, flesh-crawling filth, but I doubt it.
The civil war will be over fast because the elites are outgunned and outnumbered. I think their days are done and an ultimatum has been delivered.
YES is ahead in this poll. However, 44% say no even though they don’t know what the memo says.
