I sincerely hope you’re right but doubt the Republicans will do that. They never take advantage of timing, never run up the score when they can, and never go for the knockout punch. Its just not in their nature.

They are a passive and reluctant lot who would rather switch than fight. Its who they are. Its how they roll. Many of them are still ‘uncomfortable’ with Trump as president.

The Republicans will once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, just like they always do. Unless, of course, Trump can find a way to save them from themselves and force them to do the right thing for the American people.
