The Democrats are doomed to failure until they except the fact that ‘the wall’, ‘chain migration’, and ‘diversity lottery’ are part to an immigration plan. It’s only afterwords does decisions on DACA and Dreamers are side issues to the immigration debate. You can’t have one without the other without getting burned by the Dems.

No DACAs are going to get deported. Obama’s DACA policy is still the law of the land. Democrats have lost nothing.
Judge William Alsup rejected the Trump-Sessions DACA Memo because it did not create a new policy. Instead, the Trump-Sessions Memo just claimed that Obama’s DACA policy was unlawful and should not be enforced.
Judge Alsop simply advised the President and his Attorney General that they do not have the authority to decide what is, or is not, Constitutional.
Only the Judiciary has that power.
When Trump's case goes to the Supreme Court, he will lose 9-0.
Trump could end all this nonsense by writing an Executive Order that says something like this:
“According to the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, the DACA kids are unlawfully present in the USA. Therefore, I order the Secretary of Homeland Security to remove all of them.”
Such an order would be absolutely consistent with the original legislation. The Administrative Procedure Act of 1946 does not allow any judicial review of an Executive Order like that unless it transparently violates the law.
Unfortunately, Trump is NEVER going to write an Executive Order that expels the DACA kids.
The Democrats wanted no-strings amnesty today, in exchange for a promise that they would fund the border wall. Of course,they would cheat as soon as they got their amnesty, and the amnesty could not be reversed.
Trump called them on it. They don’t get immediate amnesty, just a path to citizenship, which CAN get cancelled if they cheat. Of course, they don’t want that.

This deal pissed off all sides. Of course it also could have been fantastic brinkmanship by Trump knowing it was a bridge too far for the Rats. Who are biggest losers? DACA recipients. Who proposed a path? Trump. Who killed it? Rats. Let the mobs converge on Schumer / Pelosi post haste.
So they’ve rejected his proposal. Everyone needs to remember this when the deportations start. They rejected the alternative to deportations

To those here who are unfamiliar even now with the way the President thinks, this response by the Left should make it clear just how far ahead of them he is.
By offering them far more in the way of amnesty numbers he can now claim he went way more than half way in trying to resolve this and point out the Dems rejected the offer. Now, just like Schumer did when he pulled his offer to authorize spending on the wall, Trump can do exactly the same thing and tell Dems his previous offer, all of it, is now off the table because they rejected it.
He doesn’t even have to offer the same thing. The president has won this round as he one the gov shutdown blame game.

Hey, Dick, glad you rejected Trump’s offer. But maybe you don’t understand that this was the best offer you’ll ever get. It’ll only get worse (for you - but better for America). Just like Trump wouldn’t talk about DACA once you morons closed the government last week, once you turn this down officially (i.e. let March 6 come and go without any DACA legislation), the deportations will start. It won’t be long before you come to Trump, BEGGING him to agree to the deal you just rejected...at which point he’ll say, “Well, boys and girls, you had your chance to get that deal, and you blew it BIGLY. Now if you want a deal, I’ve got a couple of other things that I’d like tossed into the mix - starting with eliminating birthright citizenship. Take it ALL, or leave it - but if you leave it, it’ll just get worse for you again. Oh, and around the end of June there won’t be any more talking, we’ll be concentrating on November, while still deporting more illegals every day.”
I’m guessing that Dick didn’t have anyone like Trump to deal with back in Shitcago, because he’s really screwed the pooch twice in the last couple of weeks.
Durbin as usual has everything backwards. He and the other Dims in Congress have been holding true immigration reform hostage to amnesty for illegals for more than a decade.
