The settlement, he added, would “make clear that the abuse of power will not be tolerated.”

Oh, Really? Then why is Loretta still walking around free?

They’re pantywaists as far as I can tell.

The IRS scheme that targeted Conservative groups was specifically to deny them funding that would have helped during the 2012 residential election. The fix was in, across ALL Fed Agencies. The Obama Admin was a dirty as the day is long, for 8 years. I will again feel the Rule of Law is important, only when these criminals start being prosecuted.

Why is the DoJ not being transparent and cooperative with The Congress?

The idiot that wrote this fawning bunch of BS is a typical NR etablishment loving propagandist. So Sessions is reestablishing the rule of law? I havent seen one person in DOJ fired or prosecuted. Not one clinton obama scandal has been investigated or prosecuted. This carrie woman is obviously some type of NR political hack to think that we are really stupid enough to believe this hogwash.

Lois Lerner (IRS) should already be financially ruined and in prison.

I am not one that beats up on Sessions, but I might become one.

For what he has accomplished (as listed), good, but so far his publicly known accomplishments might give rise to him receiving, at most, a Participation Award...

I'll concede the author's point that Sessions has done some good things, but he has monumentally failed at the most important thing of all. He is the linchpin in the continuing persecution of Trump even though he knows it is all based on lies and partisan perfidy.

Sessions is neither stupid nor clueless to the ways of the Swamp, yet he set the whole special counsel thing in motion by walking away from the most important role of an Attorney General, which is to uphold the Constitution and protect the Republic. A coup was gathering steam at the time, and he chose to turn his back on it and leave the country and its duly elected president open to a clear and present danger. I'll never forgive Sessions for that no matter what else he does as AG.

All Sessions has done is ended the obvious, probably illegal partisan, Democrat-favoring abuses.

The structure and full budget remains in place, with few, if any changes, just waiting for the next, even more statist/leftist Democrat to come in.

14 months after FBI corruption and Presidential political meddling has started to be revealed, the only investigator and special prosecutor on the job is still Mueller, chasing Russian ghosts and trying to entrap anyone they can associated with Trump.

I even heard that the DOJ is RESISTING release of the Congressional House Intelligence Committee “memo.” Who the hell is in charge there?

Sessions is a F*****g JOKE.

Another example of how low the National Review has sunk.

DOJ is no different today than when Holder was running it, except Holder at least did something (mostly bad).

The corrupt Deep Staters are still in charge, and the liberal agenda prevails.

The only difference so far near as I can tell was that arrests were actually being made albeit of the wrong people.

“There’s no excuse for this conduct.”

So who did you fire, Jeffy?

I haven’t joined the Hate Jeff Sessions Club ... yet ... but I am getting more and more impatient to see some high level criminals indicted.
