The liberals I hear talk about this don’t cite crime statistics. What they claim is that you are more likely to be in jail if you’re an American than you are if you’re an illegal immigrant. That is a slightly different argument. Frankly I believe it. Most illegal immigrants just came here recently so of course the legal system has not had time to catch up with them. In addition we have sanctuary city laws where cities refuse to enforce the laws against illegals. It’s basically a get out of jail free card.
Wait! You mean to tell me that people who immigrated to this country legally, complied with all the regulations and red tape, followed our laws and had background checks are more law-abiding that folks who came here illegally?
I thought it was way more than double!
