This is not something you want courts (and politicians) meddling in).

Most people realize that the Nazi death camps weren't "Polish" and people who do use the phrase are soon corrected.

But giving the issue a lot of publicity like this just increases inter-group hostility and bitterness and gives a soap-box to those who want to inflame things.

The problem (all around the world) is that governments have to be seen to be "doing things" or voters wonder what politicians are getting paid for, so they start meddling in things that are better left to society acting on its own.

No amount of destruction against Europe - including the current-day examples you use - compares to the bloodbaths and mass destruction which Europeans unleashed onto each other in the 20th Century.

Survivors, their relatives, their grievances, the ghosts, the memories live onto this day.

And it is precisely these unresolved wounds that have allowed for the societal weaknesses leading to all the current crises in countries throughout the continent.

Your interpretation of history is flawed.As far as”pissing away” all their young men”for nothing,” you are not only short sighted but downright ungrateful for the sacrifices made for the future of the Western World. There are two distinct issues:
1. The term "Polish Concentration Camp," which is slanderous and borders of Holocaust denial, given the muder of 750,000 non-Jewish Poles in the Holocaust
2. The rest of the law, which could be used to protect Polish collaborators and Poles who simply killed or stole from Jews without directly collaborating. Similar laws have been used to protect Lithuanian and Ukranian collaborators
