My sense is POTUS is taking names and giving these recalcitrant nations a chance to mend their ways. Once he is reelected there will be hell to pay for those who don’t.

Our education system is in the sub-cellar. It is a real injustice that schools waste their time on social engineering and ignore a good grounding in the basis. So many minds and potential talents squandered, so many young people without the tools to succeed.
Home Economics, Shop and technical courses provide real knowledge & life skills. They should be part of the curriculum as should a course on Civics and one on logic. I dare to dream...
as part of my standard interview questions for the factory is this question: “So, do you do any work on your car ?“
25 years ago the typical response was
„not really, my Dad does a lot of work on his car, he rebored his engine block & added bigger lifters. My older brother converted his small block chevy to a large block and then took out the trunk and welded a F-150 bed to the rear end. I only rebuilt the tranny on my car last summer, that’s not much of anything”
these days the typical response is
“ oh yeah, I do lots on work on my car. I check the oil and even the tires. Last week I washed and waxed my car all by myself”
I just wanna cry.

I went to four room brick school... there were four grades in one room: fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth. In the seventh I studied Greek and in the eighth Latin. Today, at 74, I still use both - somewhat. Why can't kids today learn English when everyone in the room is in the same class?
I know, they are not studying English... they are studying Karl Marx. A pox on Marx and all his disciples!
