On another thread, someone quoted Sarah Huckabee Sanders saying, “President Trump was not part of the decision-making process.”

I though that was odd, but I didn’t see anyone mention it.

If McCabe wants to resign, he resigns. There would be no “decision process”. There would be no question that the President should perhaps be involved.

But,

If McCabe was removed, someone obviously made the decision to do that. While President Trump may not have been part of the decision process, this looks to me to be something more than a simple retirement.

Regardless of whether removed or stepping down, it’s a start. Any takers on whether or not he’ll see the inside of a courtroom?

If it gets too hot Hillary’s hit team will be working day and night. Nothing to lose at that point.

Did security confiscate his keys and escort him out of the building?

Yep. And, unfortunately, there are many on FR who trust FAUX News.

Being "removed" and stepping down are slightly different things aren't they? Just sayin'.

Paragraph one they say he's being removed. Paragraph 2 they say he's taking leave. Since Fox can even get it straight I'll go with all the other reports that say his leaving is voluntary and in keeping with his announced retirement plans.

If his dirt becomes public knowledge and Trump fires him anytime in the next month, he loses the coveted retirement. I think he will sing. If so, he is gonna need protection.....

Yes, no exercising or late night walks.

The memo goes out in the next 24-48 hours.

He’s going to be devastated by the public revelations.

That’s my take on all this. He’s in deep ‘stuff’ about now.

Not unless he's testifying for or against someone.

He would still have to testify if supeoned.
But without the threat of being fired by the FBI.
He will claim the 5th, since he is no longer an employee.

He is now on terminal leave, which means he is still on the
FBI payroll until March. I don’t know how that affects his status to testify
to congress as a agent. Maybe someone else here knows.

“If McCabe was removed, someone obviously made the decision to do that. While President Trump may not have been part of the decision process, this looks to me to be something more than a simple retirement.”

From the article:

“McCabe is taking “terminal leave” – effectively taking vacation until he reaches his planned retirement in a matter of weeks.”

McCabe is taking a two month paid vacation. Then he will retire with full benefits.

Who knows the rest of the truth here. For all we know he’s been placed on house arrest.

He’s a serious flight risk. Given the Clinton’s history of cleaning up their loose ends, I’d say he’d rather want protective custody by a local Sheriff.

I would.

I bet Cankles has McCabe scheduled for a suicide.

Well this does say he's on "terminal leave".

the nbc news story doesn’t even mention the memo until the 18th (and final) paragraph. the first 17 paragraphs are only about the criticism/pressure that the white house has put on him, and how it would be some sort of constitutional crisis if WH pressure was the reason he resigned.

Sorry, but they need to fire him before he is eligible for anymore benefits. Anything else is just more corruption by the elites.
