I agree with the "yoga is racist" proposition only to the extent that much of Western (hatha) yoga is indeed stripped from its philosophical and religious roots. That does not make it "racist" per se, but somewhat distorted or neutered.

It is something like "cafeteria Catholicism," in which bits and pieces of doctrine or morality are accepted, while others are dropped.
