There were liberal protesters there they refused to stand for America, the flag the military etc. I find it interesting that the same article that says the TV audience is down 10% also say 10% of viewers watch on devices other than TV. Sorry I blame a bunch of retarded liberals for the NFL protest and not the NFL. And just what does that have to do with my comment? Sadly, a lot of ex-military are self-absorbed with the NFL, but that still does not alter the fact that the NFL is an anti-American, racist organization.
And apart from this particular issue, I’m so glad I realized twenty years ago, that I was wasting my life, and neglecting my family by indulging myself in watching “professional foootball!” It is an addiction that patriots ought to overcome.

I'm amazed at how many folks still apparently get so much of their self-worth from watching a bunch of allegedly 'grown men' run around playing a children's game. We have a couple of posters here who seem to worship the game. If you've seen any of these threads, I'm sure you can easily identify them.

Used to be I just ignored the entire sport as a tremendous waste of time. Now, due to the entire league deciding that patriotism isn't a virtue they want to favor, and instead are more interested in celebrating a bunch of narcissistic anti-American whiners, I've come to actively loathe the sport and feel actual disdain for anyone who still supports it.

Another one of those Yahoo polls that doesn’t match results. When ratings were down 10% they said 30% of fans were boycotting, now they’re saying 16% are going to boycott the SB. That math just don’t work.

I haven’t followed football in decades; as an adult I might look at a score in a Giants game but never watched one from start to finish (I’m just not that interested). When I do try to watch one, I’m shocked at the number of whistles - and understand why as a live event they must be miserable. When those commercials come on your screen, thousands of people are shivering in the stands - for what?
