Among all of this FISA surveillance there are probably hours of audio recordings of his phone calls and thousands of e-mails to and from him.

Reading this memo should explain why Sessions recused himself in the first place. He's subsequently a practically worthless POS that should resign, and let Trump put someone in as AG that is not recused and is capable of handling this situation. Right now his primary role seems to be supporting Rosenstein and Wray in their battles against Nunes and others in Congress, who are the ones exposing the criminals in the DOJ.
