Funny, I thought the Catholic Church has been on the precipice for awhile. (Because of my interactions with brothers, nuns etc.) It’s because us Catholics have been too unconcerned about homosexuals in our mist (they seem to dominate the orders).
I admit our local Bishops haven’t been a source of inspiration for many years (previously Bishop Wuerl, now Bishop Zubik who likes to use gender neutral language when describing priests who break their vows of chastity). That in aggregate such people wouldn’t treasure the sanctity of marriage is exactly where I thought this would go.
Well the Pope did call for a Cultural Revolution at Catholic universities.
Yes, I see. Well, the good Lord says we are Very Good just the way he made us
(notwithstanding what some college somewhere seems to think)
and when a people or nation lose its moral moorings, that people or nation decays... and eventually falls, dies
Rome comes to mind, obviously...
