CNN’s Phil Mudd: FBI’s ‘Ticked’ at Trump Over Memo and They’re ‘Going to Win’ in End
Mediaite ^ | 3 Feb 18 | Justin Baragona

CNN counterterrorism analyst Phil Mudd is known for making provocative on-air remarks and generally being fired up during segments. A CNN appearance on Friday, however, may end up being his most notorious yet.

Hours after the controversial Nunes memo dropped, Mudd indicated that the FBI was going to take matters into its own hands and make sure they eventually come out on top in a head-to-head battle with the president. With the FBI and its director already making their objections to the memo — which purports to show FISA abuses within the Russia probe — crystal clear before its release, Mudd said that agents at the bureau are angry and will stop President Donald Trump from dismantling the Russia investigation.

“The workforce will look at this and say this is an attack on our ability to conduct an investigation with integrity,” he exclaimed during a CNN panel discussion. “There are hundreds of agents and analysts working. This not just Christopher Wray, the FBI director.”

He continued, “So I’m going to tell you the FBI people are ticked. If you think you can push us off this because you can intimidate the director, you’d better think again. You’ve been around for 13 months. We’ve been around since 1908. I know how this game is going to be played. We’re going to win.”

The FBI is showing it’s true colors?

It has the autonomy to seek revenge on whose who ‘tick them off’...
Instead of only using it’s power for the search for justice and rule of law.

Man, that statement is downright scaary..

If we all now have to worry about ‘ticking off the FBI’ then we now have the equivalent of the KGB, working as an independent self interest with it’s power, as an alleged law enforcement agency.

We have a period we are entering where we will see if people are too big to fail. If agencies like the FBI allegedly enforcing the law are capable of contradicting the rule of law.
We are entering a period where we will end up either a republic with rule of law enforced equally, and a lot of people in very high places will be thrown in jail,... or we are just a really big banana republic, where elites get away with murder.

If something were to happen to Trump, I’ll wish the same on their leader.

If something happens to Trump, I think it could lead to a real civil war.

So the FBI AND the Surveillance State are rogue agencies.

And morons like this are cheering them on because they don’t happen to be attacking them at the moment.

These people are insane.

“Mudd indicated that the FBI was going to take matters into its own hands...”

And absolutely demonstrate to the American people that they are the rogue agency they are believed to be.

There’s plenty of evidence in that direction from Oregon and the shooting that killed LaVoy Finicum and injured Ryan Bundy.

“’The workforce will look at this and say this is an attack on our ability to conduct an investigation with integrity,’ he exclaimed during a CNN panel discussion.”

Let’s parse this. He is saying either that Congress and the President are question/attacking the existence of their ability to conduct an investigation with integrity, or that they are impeding their ability to conduct an investigation with integrity, and that they were in fact conducting the investigation with integrity, despite the FISA warrant obtained based on an unverified and salacious “dossier” from a source that was disqualified due to numerous contacts with the media and a history of political bias. He could be saying that, although the FISA warrant was obtained through corrupt means, now he wants to conduct an investigation with integrity, but the POTUS and the HR has ruined that by making the memo public, so the FBI will go about its corrupt investigation as before, and it’s all Donald’s fault that it has no integrity.

If he is threatening to assassinate the POTUS or members of Congress over this memo, he is going about it in a singularly stupid way, because he’s just announced his intent on national TV, and the Secret Service has probably already opened a file and began the process of obtaining search and wiretap warrants on his sorry ass. That does not mean that his stupidity makes him look innocent, just stupid. If he is innocent of such wicked intent, he’s doubly stupid, because he’s just put his foot in it for nothing. A G-man ought to have more sense.

Rebuild twin agencies and have them work as rivals, like the different Ninja clans of Tokugawa-era Japan, each spying on and informing on the other to gain advantage. It’s chaotic, but it’s an age-old problem, how to watch the watch man. That’s one way, far from perfect, but so is the present system where the IC is a law unto itself.

Damn! I was under the impression that the FBI Reported to the Attorney General and the Attorney general reported to the President. What have I missed?

God bless your son and your family.

Yes, the Marines actually have a part of their charter that allows for the President to use them for uses/missions chose by the POTIS:

7. Perform such other duties as the President may direct.

I don't think it is an accident that President Trump has surrounded himself with Marines.

Yup - I guess some in the FBI think they are the 4th Branch of Government.

Lots of beautiful music comes from the first half of the 1700s.

‘The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.” – Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)

I love this because it keeps sounding like an ending, but then goes into an unexpected chord or melody.

See if you can guess when it is about to end
