He chose one of two prudent paths. One path was to get some of the things he wanted and bide time until the GOPE can be conquered and the Dems are arrested. The other was to veto and be overridden with what such a majority would have wanted, without his say.
I would have chosen to veto, but the situation with his own party and the stupid Russian investigation really has tied him up a lot. He wants to get SC justices through and he either needs his party or the Democrats to get them through. Tell us which terrible side you would want to get your picks into power.

I dont agree with his choice. He could have played hard ball and even making nice his next nominations will go through hell. Unfunded liabilities are 300-400 trillion dollars. His adding to this helps with our economic collapse. Was there even funding for the wall?
I need to go find where in the budget our wall is funded.

Donald Trump spent his entire life building a real estate empire on massive piles of debt. Anyone who thinks he has an ounce of fiscal responsibility in him was deluding themselves.
This was all on Congress, not Trump. He would have signed anything they put on his desk.
